So for a girl that’s written a HUGE check or two, I wanted to share with you what’s been hands down the best investments I’ve ever made.

Sounds weird????? Not learning about digital marketing meant that I went into traditional TV first. That was awesome. Then I DID learn Digital Marketing

So you can learn from my mistakes & successes without having to spend as much dosh as I have!

Coming in at number five we have: learning about digital marketing!

Spending hundreds of dollars each quarter on learning the new trends in digital marketing means I can reach more people and help more people have financial success. Before learning about digital marketing from superstars like #AliciaLyttle, I was limited to one geographic region and one media platform. Maybe I am dating myself but I remember the days when a media house would present a contract that said you could not share your content for a minimum of six months with any other platform!! Hah!! Now, you are ready to share in six seconds! Or what about when I worked as a journalist, if I shared content on another media house platform, I would be fired!!! Those were the old, miserable days of control that the internet and digital marketing has put to bed. Thank you #AliciaLyttle for being my mentor since 2012.

Number four! Investing in creativity coaching!!!!

You may ask what does creativity or art has to do with where I am today. So let me tell that you that my baby www.fabulouslifefocus.com is the combination of my love of art and love of teaching financial success. I realized that there was another side of me that needed to express and create works of art that allowed me to explore another aspect of the energy of money.

Number two!

Investment in Mindset Training — Mindset training has been one of my top 5 training.

My second favorite investment that has turned my life around is training in Neurolinguistic Programming. Yes, that is a mouthful so let’s just call it NLP. NLP is the study of success and how to replicate successful people using language to free your mind from limited thinking. I share on my coaching website www.financiallyfocusedcoaching.com that my family from the inner city instilled in me a close relationship with limited thinking, scarcity and lack. #ElizabethTerry, #LesBrown, #RobertTaylor, #AliciaLyttle and so many more persons have contributed to me breaking the mental chains. NLP was the key to unlocking those mental chains. I am so #grateful.

And finally, in the #1 spot!
In 2010, when my son was born with #DownsSyndrome, I was in a tailspin. I did not know what #DownsSyndrome was and what it meant. I only knew my son had a hole in his heart, he was intellectually disabled and his life was over. I fell into #depression and got the so called helpful advise to leave my son in the hospital as there was no life for such a child. Then I found #DownsSyndrome groups and got involved with the #JamaicaDownsSyndromeFoundation. Their #parenttraining and #parentcounseling was the best #investment I made in my life and the life of my children. My son is healthy and whole. My son is my absolute joy. #Parenttraining has been my #numberone #investment ever.
I’m so glad for every penny I’ve spent on these tools.

I’m definitely not somebody who likes to spend a lot of money normally – but I am very happy to spend money when it makes me $$$ and gets me closer to my goals!
